• You will be responsible for day-to-day monthly bookkeeping tasks as well as the regular and meticulous reconciliation of all our client’s bank and credit card accounts
• you will also be responsible for processing all payments on time and for the day-to-day management of the dunning process, in accordance with internal guidelines
• Furthermore, you will oversee the ongoing maintenance of the company’s accounts and carry out electronic bookkeeping and independent data transmission with precision
• Assisting with the correct preparation of the monthly VAT return is also part of your varied and responsible daily tasks
• As part of your role, you will actively assist with the preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB standards
• Furthermore, you will assist in the expert handling of complex special accounting cases and act as a reliable point of contact for tax inspectors and tax advisers
• Finally, you will be responsible for continuously contributing to the forward-looking optimisation and digitalisation of existing internal processes across the entire accounting department

• You have completed further training as a Certified Accountant (m/f/d) or Financial Accountant (m/f/d), with a solid background as an Industrial Clerk (m/f/d) or Tax Clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in finance and accounting within a medium-sized industrial or service company
• Your confident use of common ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel, sets you apart in your day-to-day work with figures
• You have business-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as a solid command of English for liaising with business partners
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, initiative and a structured approach when dealing with complex issues
• Furthermore, you are completely trustworthy, reliable, a true team player and always work with precision, focus and independence
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must also hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
