• You will be responsible for independently handling day-to-day financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting, whilst adhering to all relevant guidelines
• You will also be responsible for posting all business transactions in the SAP Business One ERP system, as well as for the careful reconciliation of accounts
• Furthermore, you will manage all bank accounting, including posting bank statements, preparing payment proposal lists and executing daily payment runs
• The professional preparation and reconciliation of regular VAT return submissions with the tax office is also part of your daily duties
• As part of your role, you will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS, working closely with the Controlling department
• Furthermore, you will support the active development of internal accounting processes and work closely with tax advisers, auditors and external contacts
• Finally, you will be responsible for preparing for audits and balance confirmations, and for producing regular, informative reports directly for the Head of Finance

• You have successfully completed further training as a bookkeeper (m/f/d) as well as an apprenticeship as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or as an Office Management Assistant (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in financial accounting and practical experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• You stand out thanks to your solid knowledge of the SAP Business One and DATEV systems, as well as your proficiency in Microsoft Office
• For this varied role, we require business-fluent written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English
• Furthermore, you bring a highly hands-on approach, strong teamwork skills and a keen sense of responsibility for your day-to-day tasks
• Finally, you are a determined individual who works independently, conscientiously and always to a high standard, with a strong aptitude for numbers
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
