• You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, including account allocation and the recording of all business transactions, in accordance with the applicable legal requirements
• You will also be responsible for all payment transactions and for managing the dunning process independently to ensure the liquidity of this successful company
• Furthermore, you will handle tax matters and independently prepare the necessary advance VAT returns and statistical reports for the authorities
• Helping to prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) is also part of your varied role within the team
• As part of your role, you will support the Controlling department with regular reporting and the preparation of detailed target-actual comparisons
• Furthermore, you will support the entire team in optimising existing processes within the modern Navision ERP system
• Finally, you will be responsible for reconciling the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers and real accounts to ensure seamless and error-free financial accounting within the company

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk (m/f/d), as an office management assistant (m/f/d) or an industrial business administrator (m/f/d)
• you also have solid professional experience in financial accounting as well as in-depth knowledge of tax law under the Income Tax Act (EStG), the Value Added Tax Act (UStG) and the Corporation Tax Act (KStG)
• Your confident use of common ERP systems such as Navision, DATEV or SAP FI are key strengths in your work
• Your command of German at a native level, both spoken and written, as well as your confident use of Excel for analysis, set you apart
• Furthermore, you possess a strong aptitude for numbers and analytical thinking, enabling you to evaluate complex data sets
• Finally, you are a team-oriented individual and always work with absolute reliability, in a structured manner and with a strong commitment to quality
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
