Your responsibilities

You will work in financial accounting as well as accounts receivable and accounts payableYou will independently check, allocate and post day-to-day business transactionsYou will post and reconcile incoming payments and handle payment transactionsYou will play an active role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. You will prepare reports and present them to senior management. You will reconcile accounts and resolve outstanding items with internal and external contacts:internal. You will monitor compliance with accounting deadlines and requirements. You will maintain and update master data for accounts receivable and accounts payable

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management assistant (m/f/d) with a specialisation in financial accounting
• You have professional experience in financial accounting as well as in accounts receivable and accounts payable
• You have a sound understanding of account allocation and the posting of day-to-day business transactions
• You are fully proficient in using standard accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• You have experience in contributing to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• You are characterised by a meticulous and structured approach to your work
• You have a good head for figures and strong analytical skills
• Reliability and discretion when handling sensitive financial data are second nature to you
