• You will be responsible for the independent entry, verification and correct posting of all incoming supplier invoices in accordance with the applicable tax regulations
• You will also be responsible for the complete and timely processing of all domestic and international payments, as well as for our client’s structured dunning process
• Furthermore, you will oversee the daily, accurate posting of bank statements and be responsible for the ongoing reconciliation of all relevant general, subsidiary and ledger accounts
• Your responsibilities also include the regular preparation of, and active support in, the timely compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• As part of your day-to-day work, you will actively support the financial accounting management team in the preparation of business analyses and reports
• Furthermore, you will assist in clarifying complex tax issues and work very closely with our client’s external auditors and tax advisers
• Finally, you will be responsible for the creation, maintaining and regularly updating all sensitive accounts payable and accounts receivable master data in the designated accounting systems

• Successful completion of further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d), Financial Accountant (m/f/d) or Tax Specialist (m/f/d) provides the ideal professional foundation for this vacancy
• in addition, you have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an Office Management Assistant (m/f/d), Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d) or Tax Clerk (m/f/d), providing a first-class, solid foundation
• Your in-depth, several years’ professional experience in the field of financial accounting within an industrial company will enable you to settle into the role very quickly and smoothly
• Your confident and practical knowledge of the DATEV accounting system, as well as initial valuable experience in using SAP R/3, set you apart
• You have excellent written and spoken German skills for day-to-day, fully legally compliant correspondence with all our client’s customers and business partners
• Furthermore, you bring a very high degree of reliability, an aptitude for numbers and a strong ability to work as part of a team to help us achieve our departmental goals together
