• You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day financial accounting and posting entries to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts and fixed assets
• You will handle payment transactions whilst monitoring outstanding items
• You will reconcile accounts and prepare the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You will act as the point of contact for accounting matters when liaising with tax advisers, banks and auditors
• You will prepare monthly business reports for the management
• You will analyse costs, turnover and operating results and draw conclusions from them
• You will set up and further develop our cost centre and cost object accounting systems
• You will continuously monitor production costs, machine hourly rates and product costing
• You carry out target/actual comparisons and profitability analyses
• You prepare budget, profit and liquidity plans independently
• You develop meaningful key performance indicators for the production departments
• Through your analyses, you will lay the foundations for business decisions in close consultation with senior management

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and undertaken further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d), bookkeeper (m/f/d) or controller (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ practical experience in carrying out financial accounting independently
• You have a good understanding of management accounting and cost accounting
• You have a good understanding of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You are confident using Excel and ERP systems
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in a manufacturing company
• You work independently, in a structured manner and are reliable
• You are characterised by an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy further developing processes
• You enjoy working with numbers
