• You will be responsible for independently handling day-to-day financial accounting and managing all payment transactions, including the ongoing monitoring of our client’s cash flow
• In addition, you will be responsible for the complete accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounts, as well as for the timely posting of all bank and cash transactions
• Furthermore, you will oversee the timely preparation of all necessary advance VAT returns and play an active role in the submission of important statistical reports
• Your responsibilities also include the thorough preparation of, and active involvement in, the compilation of legally compliant monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• As part of your role, you will support the careful reconciliation of balance sheetand profit and loss accounts, as well as fostering a trusting working relationship with tax advisers and auditors
• Furthermore, you will support the ongoing maintenance and digitalisation of all existing accounting processes, as well as helping to shape forward-looking commercial projects
• Finally, you will be responsible for the professional coordination of all accounting interfaces and will act in an advisory capacity to internal departments and external partners

• You have successfully completed further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) or financial statement accountant (m/f/d), building on a commercial apprenticeship as an office administrator (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in financial accounting within a manufacturing company, as well as in-depth knowledge of commercial and tax law
• Your solid knowledge of SAP ERP FI and your expertise in using MS Excel will be a major asset in carrying out all your day-to-day accounting tasks
• You have native-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as practical knowledge of English for day-to-day professional use
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of analytical thinking, a strong grasp of numbers and a structured, independent approach to your day-to-day work
• Finally, you are a strong communicator, are highly reliable and take great pleasure in actively digitising and optimising existing processes
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
