You will be responsible for the comprehensive processing of all transactions arising in the context of accounts payable and accounts receivable for our client, in accordance with internally specified standards

You will also be responsible for carefully checking all incoming invoices and ensuring they are properly authorised in close consultation with the relevant departments

Furthermore, you will oversee the correct recording and timely processing of the company’s VAT and trade tax in accordance with the current legal requirements

Carrying out double-entry bookkeeping in compliance with all relevant legal requirements is also part of your day-to-day tasks in day-to-day operations

As part of your role, you will support the ongoing digitisation of all existing accounting processes and the associated documents to optimise internal workflows

Furthermore, you will support the existing team in preparing all relevant financial data for monthly reports and analyses to ensure reliable corporate management

Finally, following a thorough induction, you will be responsible for independently processing all ongoing accounting transactions to ensure smooth commercial operations

REQUIREMENTS

You have completed further training as a Financial Advisory Specialist (m/f/d) or a Chartered Accountant (m/f/d), as well as an apprenticeship as a Tax Clerk (m/f/d) or an Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d)

You also have several years’ solid professional experience in the field of accounting and double-entry bookkeeping within the commercial environment of medium-sized companies

Your confident use of standard accounting systems and modern digital tools sets you apart in your day-to-day accounting work

Your native-level command of written and spoken German enables you to communicate smoothly and precisely with all internal stakeholders

Furthermore, you demonstrate a strong aptitude for working with figures and consistently adopt a meticulous and highly reliable approach to all tasks

Finally, you are an excellent team player and stand out for your structured and goal-oriented approach in a dynamic day-to-day working environment
