Job description
- You will be responsible for the comprehensive processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including dunning and the continuous monitoring of all open items
- In addition, you will be responsible for the creation, processing and internal invoicing of invoices within the Group, including the processing of loan repayments
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for all G/L account postings, daily payment transactions and the professional processing of all direct debit procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the external tax consultant is also one of your responsible tasks
- As part of your role, you will support the creation of provisions, carry out regular account reconciliations and take over the conscientious cash management for the location
- finally, you will be responsible for checking and accounting for travel expenses and act as a competent contact person for external bodies and internal departments in financial matters
Requirements
- You have completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) and have sound theoretical expertise
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally gained in an internationally operating industrial company or a tax consultancy firm
- You are characterised by your sound knowledge of common IT applications and modern accounting systems, enabling you to efficiently handle all digital financial processes
- Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a good command of English for communication within the global group of companies are a matter of course for you
- In addition, you have a high degree of reliability and a pronounced affinity for numbers, to be able to process complex issues precisely and on time
- Finally, you are a real team player and always work in a structured and solution-oriented manner to continuously analyse and improve existing financial processes within your area of responsibility
