• You will be responsible for independently processing all day-to-day transactions in our client’s accounts receivable and accounts payable departments, in accordance with legal requirements
• You will also be responsible for the timely handling of the entire dunning process and for the ongoing monitoring of all outstanding items
• Furthermore, you will oversee the correct preparation and submission of monthly advance VAT returns to the relevant tax authorities within the specified timeframe
• The professional verification, account allocation and entry of incoming supplier invoices are also part of your daily tasks in financial accounting
• As part of your role, you will assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, as well as the reconciliation of the relevant general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
• Furthermore, you will assist in resolving payment discrepancies and provide advice to internal departments on finance-related matters
• Finally, you will be responsible for maintaining master data in the accounting system and ensuring professional communication with clients and external partners

• You have successfully completed further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) or a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or an office management clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in financial accounting as well as in accounts receivable and accounts payable within a manufacturing company
• Your solid knowledge of common accounting systems and your proficiency in using MS Office applications set you apart in your day-to-day work
• Your native-level command of written and spoken German enables you to communicate precisely and error-free with all internal contacts
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of conscientiousness, a strong grasp of figures, and a structured and independent approach to work to your new role
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
