• You will independently post bank transactions and ensure the seamless processing of all business transactions in the SAGE accounting system
• You will also record suppliers and handle both digital document capture and the monitoring of payment flows for clients
• You will also draw on your experience when it comes to posting payroll runs from DATEV and ensuring they are correctly allocated
• Setting up and processing accrual entries, as well as maintaining recurring standing orders, will also form part of your responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will play a key part in system development and optimise processes based on SAGE and its cost accounting system
• Finally, you will ideally use your knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP to drive process improvements and ensure reliable financial reporting

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office administrator (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d), ideally specialising in accounting, bookkeeping or finance
• you also have several years’ professional experience in financial accounting and are confident and experienced in using SAGE Accounting
• your expertise in bank entries, supplier entry and the digital processing of documents in SAGE makes you a reliable partner for our clients
• Ideally, you will have experience in posting payroll runs using DATEV, as well as in setting up accruals and recurring entries
• Furthermore, you have knowledge of SAGE Cost Accounting and are experienced in independently structuring and developing processes
• You also have experience with IFRS or US GAAP and are willing to quickly familiarise yourself with new areas of responsibility
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
