• You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the vehicle fleet, as well as the coordination of all transport processes to ensure smooth operations
• You will also be responsible for the management, supervision and development of our drivers, whilst taking into account all legal regulations and operational requirements
• Furthermore, you will oversee freight inspection, the checking of load securing, and the correct processing and archiving of all accompanying transport documents
• Monitoring driving and rest periods, as well as ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and quality standards, is also part of your role
• As part of your role, you will support the planning of vehicle deployments at the site and the continuous optimisation of all logistical route processes for local transport
• Furthermore, you will assist with loading and unloading, the preparation of palletised goods and the efficient processing of customer orders
• Finally, you will be responsible for the regular maintenance and upkeep of the lorries, as well as ensuring the technical operational readiness of the entire fleet

• You have completed further training as a transport manager (m/f/d) and have either trained as a professional driver (m/f/d) or as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have extensive professional experience in fleet management, a Class C1/C driving licence with code 95, and a valid driver card
• Your confident use of common scanner systems, telematics software and standard transport management applications
• You are distinguished by your native-level command of written and spoken German, as well as a good basic knowledge of English
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of perseverance, leadership skills, empathy towards drivers, as well as strong assertiveness and a willingness to be on call
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your professional expertise, you must also hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
