Your responsibilities

• you will handle customer enquiries from abroad and ensure a prompt response
• you will draw up quotations and contracts in foreign languages, particularly in English
• You will calculate prices, customs duties and delivery costs for international orders
• You will independently prepare export and customs documents such as certificates of origin and export declarations
• You will coordinate transport with freight forwarders, shipping lines and airlines
• You will check that foreign trade and customs regulations are being complied with and are up to date
• You will look after existing customers and further develop customer relationships
• You will carry out market analyses to identify and develop new sales markets

What we are looking for

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a foreign trade clerk (m/f/d), freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d)
• You have a sound knowledge of foreign trade and customs law
• You are adept at calculating prices, customs duties and delivery costs
• You have a good command of spoken and written English, enabling you to draft quotations and contracts with confidence
• You work in a structured and meticulous manner when preparing export and customs documents
• You apply strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach when dealing with international business partners
• Finally, you show an interest in market analysis and developing new sales markets
