• You will use a forklift truck to transport timber and timber products around the premises
• You will also load and unload lorries, railway wagons and other means of transport
• You will store and reposition raw timber and finished goods in accordance with storage and production specifications
• In addition, you will carry out quality checks during goods handling, for example, checking for damage
• You will document stock movements using a handheld scanner or in the digital stock management system
• You will also assist with logistical processes, such as stock-taking and loading planning

• You hold a forklift licence
• You also have experience of operating large forklifts
• Experience of working with timber or other materials would be an advantage
• You have a technical understanding of machinery and plant
• You are willing to work shifts
• You are physically fit and pay close attention to safety when working outdoors
• Your ability to work as part of a team and your reliability round off your profile
