Forklift driver (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will operate a forklift truck to transport and load building materials and precast concrete elements within the site
• You will operate the gantry crane (outdoor crane) to secure, lift and move precast concrete elements over the building and into the outdoor storage area
• You will securely sling heavy concrete elements, select suitable slinging gear and take responsibility for load handling
• You will load and unload lorries and transport materials within the factory premises
• You are responsible for ensuring the correct and safe storage of precast concrete elements in the outdoor storage area
• Before starting work, you carry out visual and functional checks on forklift trucks and cranes
• You consistently comply with health and safety and accident prevention regulations, particularly when operating cranes outdoors
• You document the checks carried out and report any faults found on forklift trucks or cranes

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship, e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d), a warehouse clerk (m/f/d) or hold a comparable commercial-technical qualification
• You hold a valid forklift licence and a crane operator’s licence
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and a good understanding of how to handle precast concrete elements safely
• A high level of safety awareness and consistent adherence to health and safety and accident prevention regulations come naturally to you
• Spoken German and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• Team spirit and reliability round off your profile
