• You negotiate and assign worldwide transports (road, air and sea freight) and check the associated freight invoices
• You handle international shipping and customs processes independently, including ATLAS/AEB, sanction checks and the preparation of all export documents
• You ensure efficient, on-time shipping and make sure that all transport, packaging and dangerous goods regulations are complied with
• Together with the shipping manager, you continuously optimise logistics processes
• You support audits in customs, preference and foreign trade, packaging and dangerous goods regulations are complied with

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, preferably as a forwarding agent (m/f/d), forwarding and logistics services clerk, industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• ideally, you have also completed further professional training in the field of foreign trade/customs
• profound knowledge in the handling of complex customs procedures in the import and export sector will benefit you
• good written and spoken German and and written English are a matter of course for you for effective communication
• you are confident in using MS Office and SAP
