• You will handle domestic and international shipments independently
• You will reliably coordinate dispatch dates and processes
• You will obtain freight quotations from our designated carriers
• You will prepare country-specific export documents in accordance with customs regulations
• Commissioning logistics service providers is also part of your role
• You will carefully handle customer complaints and insurance claims for damaged goods
• You will check incoming freight invoices for accuracy
• You accept and inspect incoming goods
• You use a forklift truck to load and unload goods

• a completed commercial apprenticeship, for example as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, an industrial clerk or a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d), you have several years’ professional experience in the field of import and export processing; you possess very good knowledge of the ‘Atlas’ customs programme; you are confident in using MS Office products as well as ERP systems, preferably SAP R/3, and good written and spoken English skills round off your profile; strong communication skills and the ability to get things done are among your strengths; you apply an analytical, conceptual and structured approach to your day-to-day work; teamwork comes naturally to you; and you are characterised by your commitment and flexibility
