Your responsibilities

• You will handle the day-to-day dispatch of goods nationally and internationally by road, sea or air
• You will prepare all customs and freight documents independently and ensure they are correctly documented
• You will coordinate and schedule shipments in consultation with freight forwarders and clients
• You will carefully classify goods under the customs tariff
• You will obtain and evaluate quotations for national and international transport by sea, air, land and courier
• You will plan and invoice installation assignments
• You will prepare outgoing invoices and handle the corresponding invoicing
• General office work and administrative tasks round off your remit

What we are looking for

• A completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk

(m/f/d), a qualification as a Foreign Trade Clerk (m/f/d) or a Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/f/d)

• You have already gained experience in customs and export clearance as well as in preparing freight documents
• You have knowledge of national and international transport (sea, air, land, courier)
• You impress with your organisational skills, communication abilities and sense of responsibility
• You are characterised by a structured and meticulous approach to your work
