• You produce sand moulds by hand or with the aid of machines
• You operate the foundry machines in accordance with instructions and monitor the ongoing process
• You carry out quality control checks on the finished castings
• You identify faulty moulds or castings and sort them out
• You load and unload the foundry machines with the appropriate materials
• You prepare sand material and moulding boxes for the next casting process
• You ensure that health and safety and organisational regulations are observed in your workplace
• Finally, you clean and maintain the machines and tools used

• You have the manual dexterity required to produce sand casting moulds
• You work carefully and precisely, particularly when carrying out quality control checks on castings
• A basic technical understanding of how to operate foundry machinery would be an advantage
• You are reliable and conscientious in adhering to health and safety and organisational regulations
• You have a basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit rounds off your profile
