• You will be responsible for making sand moulds and casting them with cast iron to produce the required castings
• Excavating the mould pit using a crane grab, a pneumatic hammer and various hand tools
• You will be responsible for setting up the mould bed
• Your duties will also include making the lower mould by filling it with moulding sand and carefully compacting the sand mixture to accurately reproduce the model’s contours
• You will place cores into the mould according to the core layout plan and templates

• Ideally, you will already have professional experience in a foundry
• You are also welcome to apply as a motivated career changer (m/f/d) with experience of using workshop tools and good manual dexterity, you are very welcome
• You are comfortable working in a noisy environment where you may get dirty
• Commitment and reliability are key strengths of yours
• Prerequisites for employment are valid work documents (work permit) and a good command of spoken and written German
