• Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating daily freight transport, both local and long-distance, to ensure smooth operations and optimal vehicle utilisation
• You will allocate drivers and vehicles in accordance with legal regulations and operational guidelines, covering both part-load and full-load shipments
• You will also check transport orders, enter them into the system and be responsible for ensuring they are carried out on time
• You’ll be the main point of contact for drivers, customers and the warehouse – you’ll always have a solution ready should any queries or problems arise
• You also monitor and optimise routes, communicate actively with drivers and pass on necessary information or instructions
• You check and document all relevant transport and delivery data and contribute to quality assurance

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally in the field of freight forwarding and logistics, or have equivalent experience
• You also have experience in the planning of freight transport, preferably local and long-distance transport, and are familiar with the relevant regulations
• You are confident using IT systems such as planning software and MS Office (LIS, Carlo, etc.) and are open to new technologies
• A good command of written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are also assets
• Your organisational skills and structured approach to work enable you to plan and manage transport processes efficiently
• You have good communication skills and can interact with drivers and customers in a clear and solution-oriented manner
• You are resilient, flexible and willing to work both as part of a team and independently
