• You will load and unload lorries carrying frozen goods at temperatures as low as -20 °C
• You will use a forklift truck to transport pallets to the high-bay warehouse and retrieve them again
• You will pick orders using picking lists
• You will transport goods within the premises between the various warehouse areas and relocate them as required
• You will sort goods by item number, batch or according to the FIFO/FEFO principle
• You will check the goods for damage, best-before dates and correct labelling
• You document all goods movements in the warehouse management system (WMS)
• You ensure the cold chain is maintained and carry out visual and temperature checks
• You carry out regular visual inspections of your forklift truck and undertake maintenance tasks, such as changing the battery on electric forklift trucks
• You comply with safety regulations in all your work, for example when securing loads and on the warehouse access routes

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d), warehouse clerk (m/f/d) or freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d)
• You have experience in the warehouse or logistics sector
• You hold a valid forklift licence (industrial truck licence in accordance with DGUV Guideline 308-001)
• You are physically fit enough to work in cold conditions at temperatures as low as -20 °C
• A basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level) would be an advantage
• A valid work permit is required
• You are confident in using a warehouse management system (WMS) and picking lists, or are a quick learner
• You take safety regulations, load securing and maintaining the cold chain seriously and reliably
• You are reliable and a team player
• You work carefully and with concentration, even when visibility is restricted by condensation or frost
