• You will further develop an existing application into a modern web-based solution and incorporate current technologies into the project in a meaningful way, taking scalability into account
• You will analyse the various use cases for functional requirements from the specialist department and implement them independently in stable and highly available features for the platform
• You will design the backend, interfaces and the entire database logic so precisely that the entire application remains performant at all times, secure and easy to maintain for the team at all times
• through the continuous development of existing modules, you ensure significantly improved user guidance and greater process efficiency within the company's entire digital infrastructure

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, business informatics or software engineering as well as training as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d) or system integration (m/f/d)
• In professional software development with PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel and JavaScript including Node.js or Next.js
• you have already gained sound practical experience
• with relational database systems such as MySQL or MariaDB and are absolutely confident in query optimisation and database design for complex and data-intensive web applications in day-to-day business
• you have a profound technical understanding of modern web architectures, REST APIs and current development approaches such as CI/CD or containerisation to the daily work of the team
• you work in an agile team environment in a structured manner and communicate confidently in German at at least C1 level in order to present complex technical issues to various contact persons in a precise and understandable way
