• When taking funeral arrangements, you provide empathetic support to bereaved families and accurately record all their wishes and the necessary formalities
• During the collection, recovery and placing the deceased in a coffin, you act responsibly and with dignity, and subsequently carry out the transfer from the place of death using the funeral vehicle
• by providing hygienic care for the deceased, you ensure that every person is prepared with respect and in a professional manner
• By organising and carrying out viewings, you create a dignified setting for bereaved families so that they can say their goodbyes
• You reliably handle transport and courier journeys as well as visits to government offices, keeping organisational processes running smoothly behind the scenes
• When working with third parties such as the registry office, public health authority or police, you coordinate information and ensure that all legal requirements are met

• You have completed training as a funeral services specialist (m/f/d), funeral director (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• Any previous practical experience in dealing with the deceased or in organisational processes would be an advantage
• You treat the deceased and their relatives with dignity and sensitivity, showing empathy and respect
• You have a good command of spoken German and hold valid work permits, thereby meeting the formal requirements
• You are willing to work a 3-shift rota during the week and a 2-shift system at weekends
• You hold a driving licence, enabling you to reliably carry out transfers, journeys and organisational tasks
• With a confident and courteous manner, you make a positive impression when dealing with authorities and external partners
• You act responsibly with discretion and drive, and remain calm in sensitive situations
