• You will create technical drawings in AutoCAD (2D) and ensure they are always up to date
• You will create and maintain technical documentation in accordance with project specifications
• You will supervise assembly work and draw up the relevant assembly instructions
• You will organise and coordinate the procurement of the necessary materials
• You will manage projects from the technical planning stage right through to implementation
• You will monitor production progress whilst keeping an eye on deadlines
• You will coordinate schedules and technical details with customers and, where necessary, visit them on site
• As head of the design department, you will lead your team, allocate tasks and act as the technical point of contact

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a technical draughtsman (m/f/d), technical product designer (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) and have undertaken further training to become a technician (m/f/d)
• You have experience in the design and project planning of orders
• You have some management experience or are willing to lead a small team of three staff members
• You are characterised by your technical understanding and knowledge of manufacturing and assembly
• You are willing to travel for occasional client visits
• You work in a structured manner and reliably keep track of deadlines and production progress
• You prepare documentation and assembly instructions meticulously and independently
