On behalf of our client, a medium-sized company specialising in stamping and forming technology in Schwarzenberg, we are looking for you to join us as Head of Warehouse Logistics (m/f/d) as part of a temporary placement with the option of a permanent role.

• You will be responsible for the technical supervision of all processes relating to goods receipt, correct storage, and the picking and packing of goods
• In addition, you will be responsible for the targeted management, efficient resource planning and the sustainable professional development of the entire warehouse team
• furthermore, you will oversee the regular carrying out of stock checks and the systematic planning of all stock-takes to optimise the use of storage space
• continuous coordination with the Production, Purchasing and Sales, as well as with external haulage contractors, is also part of your remit
• As part of your role, you will support the analysis of relevant key performance indicators such as on-time delivery rates, stock turnover and lead times to optimise all processes
• Furthermore, you will ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations and internal guidelines within the warehouse
• Finally, you will be responsible for the continuous optimisation of processes in the logistics department to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for all business customers we supply

• You have successfully completed further training to become a Logistics Supervisor (m/f/d) or Industrial Supervisor (m/f/d), building on an apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) or Warehouse Clerk (m/f/d)
• you also have several years’ solid professional experience in warehouse logistics, as well as initial, practical experience in supervising staff
• Your confident user skills in handling modern warehouse management systems and standard ERP software such as SAP set you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have a business-fluent level of written and spoken German to ensure smooth communication with all internal stakeholders
• You also possess a high degree of assertiveness, strong organisational skills and a highly structured way of thinking
• Finally, you are highly motivated, characterised by a goal-oriented approach to work and willing to work shifts
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
