• In this role, you will prepare the meal service for the after-school club and nursery and organise the food on offer at the serving counter
• You will be responsible for serving meals to the children and care staff, whilst ensuring cleanliness and hygiene
• After meals, you will clear away and wash the crockery, and set it out again
• You will ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, wiping down tables and cleaning the floors
• You will thoroughly and regularly clean corridors and communal areas
• You will clean and disinfect sanitary facilities in accordance with the applicable hygiene guidelines and top up consumables such as soap, towels and toilet paper
• You dispose of rubbish properly and sort it according to the guidelines
• Where necessary, you wash textiles such as tea towels or bibs and fold them neatly
