• You will be responsible for commissioning communication and network systems in international energy infrastructure projects and ensuring their reliable operation
• The configuration, testing and optimisation of TCP/IP-based networks, switches, routers and HMI systems is part of your daily remit
• When connecting different trades and suppliers, you ensure smooth communication between all involved systems and interfaces
• Through the targeted implementation of time synchronisation solutions as well as signal and communication converters, you will provide long-term support for stable, secure plant operation
• You will support the project and commissioning management in quality, risk and claimsmanagement issues and actively contribute to improvement measures
• Furthermore, you document all tests and configurations carried out and draw up detailed commissioning reports for final acceptance

• You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, information technology or a comparable technical discipline
• You also have solid practical experience in network administration involving switches, routers and common network protocols such as TCP/IP
• your confident handling of HMI systems, PC hardware and modern virtualisation technologies set you apart when it comes to fault analysis
• Your native-level written and spoken German, as well as fluent English for global communication, round off your profile
• Furthermore, you are highly willing to undertake assignments at construction sites worldwide as well as optional offshore assignments at sea
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
