• As the first point of contact, you will assist customers and insurers with any queries regarding existing contracts
• You will handle invoicing and debt collection, including all relevant entries in the MVP system
• You will then carry out market surveys on existing policies and negotiate independently with customers and insurers
• You will prepare quotations, quotes and quote comparisons for submission to policyholders, whilst always keeping track of the relevant deadlines
• You request, review and forward claims notifications, coordinate site inspection appointments between loss adjusters, clients and field staff, and ensure, through negotiations, that claims are processed on time and that clear claims summaries are provided
• As part of your support for new business acquisition, you will create leads in the IT system and draw up contract and claims summaries as well as quotation comparisons
• In consultation with senior management, you will conduct negotiations with insurers
• Occasionally, you will attend annual reviews or negotiation meetings with clients and insurers – involving some travel

• You have completed a vocational qualification as an Insurance and Finance Clerk (m/f/d), as an Insurance Specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have between one and several years’ professional experience in claims handling or specialist support within the field of general insurance (experience in the agricultural sector is an advantage, but not essential)
• Furthermore, you are proficient in using MS Office, ideally supplemented by experience with insurance or broker management software (MVP)
• Good written and spoken German is a given for you
• A Class B driving licence would be an advantage for occasional on-site appointments
• You are characterised by strong communication skills, negotiating ability and a confident, friendly manner when dealing with customers and insurers
• A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work is part of your skill set
• You enjoy working with people and have an interest in agricultural matters
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
