• You will be responsible for obtaining and comparing quotations, as well as carrying out market analyses
• You will be responsible for establishing and managing supplier relationships
• You will handle independent procurement and project negotiations, as well as the awarding of contracts
• Your remit also includes order processing, monitoring (SAP) and handling complaints
• You will be responsible for claims management and price reconciliation
• You will play an active role in process optimisation, data analysis and presentations
• Planning and contributing to strategic material group planning round off your role

• You have a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
• Alternatively, you have completed a 3-year apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) with an additional 1-year specialist training course
• At least 3 years’ professional experience in purchasing or materials management, ideally in the field of forged components or the metalworking industry
• Furthermore, you have a basic technical understanding of metalworking and manufacturing processes
• Your excellent SAP R3 skills are a strong asset
• You are naturally proficient in using MS Office, particularly Excel
• German language skills at C2 level and English language skills (at least B2) in both spoken and written form are part of your profile
• You are characterised by a structured and meticulous approach to your work
