• In this role, you will regularly maintain and inspect machinery and plant to prevent breakdowns before they occur
• You will be responsible for systematically identifying the cause of faults in the event of malfunctions, so that you can quickly restore the plant to working order
• You will carry out repairs on mechanical assemblies and plant components and replace wear parts
• You will be responsible for the manufacture and adaptation of components and fixtures in accordance with drawings or specifications
• You will machine metal parts by sawing, drilling, filing, turning or milling, and you will also carry out welding and cutting work on steel and metal structures
• You will professionally assemble and disassemble drives, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic and pneumatic components
• Following repairs, you will align and adjust machine parts and plant, and test their functionality
• You carefully document maintenance and repair work in accordance with company guidelines, whilst complying with health and safety regulations and ensuring that work areas are properly secured

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d), construction mechanic (m/f/d) or plant mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in the maintenance and repair of machinery and plant
• You are proficient in the standard tasks of a maintenance fitter (m/f/d)
• Technical understanding and the ability to read technical drawings accurately are among your strengths
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• You also possess good manual dexterity
• You work meticulously, reliably and independently
• You are a team player and communicate clearly
