• You set up and configure CNC machines and cycle-controlled machines, and operate them during production
• You machine workpieces in accordance with CNC programmes, drawings and work plans
• You programme CNC machines and adapt existing programmes as required
• You commission new CNC programmes, optimising the machine settings in the process
• You monitor the manufacturing process with regard to quality and efficiency
• You will also produce turned and machined parts on conventional lathes
• Using suitable measuring equipment, you will measure workpieces and tools and check dimensional accuracy
• You carefully record dimensions and inspection results
• You maintain and service tools, machines and equipment, keeping them in working order

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have professional experience in conventional turning
• You have experience with cycle-controlled machines and are familiar with operating CNC machines
• Knowledge of setting up, configuring and programming CNC machines is second nature to you
• You can read technical drawings and work plans and implement them with confidence
• You are characterised by your meticulous and quality-conscious approach to work, including when measuring and recording test results
• You carry out your tasks reliably and independently
• Valid work permits and a spoken command of German are essential for employment
