• You will carry out maintenance, repair and servicing work on production machinery in the fine ceramics industry
• You will service and maintain components, as well as assemble and dismantle them
• You will carry out maintenance and repair work on moulds used in tile production
• In the event of faults, you systematically investigate the cause and rectify it, in some cases whilst production is ongoing
• You manufacture, assemble and modify components, tools and fixtures using machining, welding and thermal cutting techniques
• You modify hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and check that they are functioning correctly
• Once the work is complete, you check the machines and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and ensure that production runs smoothly
• You will document the maintenance and repair work you have carried out in a clear and traceable manner
• When carrying out transport and lifting tasks, you will use industrial trucks and cranes safely as required

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), machine fitter (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have knowledge of maintenance, as well as pneumatics and hydraulics
• Initial work experience is desirable, as is experience in toolmaking or mechanical machining
• Ideally, you hold a forklift licence and a crane operator’s certificate
• You are a team player, reliable and have a strong sense of responsibility
• You demonstrate commitment and the ability to work under pressure

• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
