• You assemble and disassemble mechanical sub-assemblies in accordance with drawings and specifications
• You assemble machines and plant step by step, ensuring precise fits
• During maintenance and repair work, you keep machines and plant in working order
• You identify faults and wear and tear on mechanical components, rectify faults and replace defective parts
• You machine mechanical components manually or using machinery and adjust them, for example by filing, drilling or grinding
• You use measuring and testing equipment to check the dimensions and functionality of your work
• Following assembly, you commission assemblies and systems and carry out functional tests
• You document the work you have carried out, whilst complying with safety and quality requirements

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• A basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is one of your strengths
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and confident approach to your work are your strong points
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
