For our client Rheinmetall, a large company and specialist for land vehicle systems and defence technology in Kassel, we are looking for you as a construction mechanic (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) in full-time employment as part of temporary employment with an option to be taken on.

Job description
- You will install and remove mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components and assemblies on armoured wheeled vehicles
- In addition, you will repair defective vehicle parts, replace damaged components and document detected defects in inspection reports
- Then you will independently find faults in vehicles or assemblies - whether mechanical or electronic - and get the systems up and running again
- You will pick materials and assemblies, prepare them for installation and supervise commissioning and acceptance
- at the end of the day, you will independently carry out factory self-checks and neatly document all work steps in the test documentation
Requirements
- You have completed training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or electronics technician (m/f/d)
- You have a valid forklift licence and have a good technical understanding
- Your German language skills are business fluent and you can also understand and implement technical instructions in English
- In addition, you are willing to work in a 3-shift system and keep a cool head even under pressure
