• You will be responsible for the precise assembly of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic sub-assemblies directly onto large defence vehicles
• You will also be responsible for the precise adjustment, alignment and testing of mechanical system components in accordance with assembly drawings
• You will also systematically identify mechanical tolerances and functional deviations throughout the assembly area and rectify them
• The maintenance, servicing and preventative upkeep of the highly automated production facilities at the Kassel site will also form part of your duties
• As part of your role, you will support the comprehensive and reliable functional testing of all assembled large mechanical sub-assemblies
• Furthermore, you will assist in resolving unplanned disruptions to the production process to avoid prolonged downtime

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), precision mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable technical qualification
• you also have extensive experience in the assembly of large sub-assemblies in heavy commercial vehicle manufacturing
• You are distinguished by your expertise in the safe handling of torque tools, precision measuring equipment and heavy lifting gear
• You have good to very good written and spoken German skills to ensure comprehensive documentation
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
• Finally, you impress with your strong team spirit, reliability and a willingness to work flexibly on a shift basis
