• You will assemble units and large components such as rudders, engines, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, filters and bushings
• Transport tasks, thread cutting, drilling, reaming and the assembly of pipes and fittings are part of your remit
• You fabricate and install complex bases from semi-finished products and steel plates
• You carry out alignment work and produce load-bearing diagrams
• You measure and fit adapters, and forward them to production if required
• You plan and construct assembly jigs independently
• You also reliably carry out assembly work using hydraulic press fittings
• You carry out heat and cold shrink fitting work professionally
• You work safely and precisely on fixed and portable boring machines

• You have completed vocational training in the metalworking industry, e.g. as a metalworker (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a construction fitter (m/f/d)
• you have several years’ professional experience in this field, preferably in shipbuilding or even submarine construction
• you hold valid forklift and crane licences
• You can confidently read and understand 2D and 3D drawings and sketches
• You are experienced in using digital devices such as tablets and digital media
• Your manual skills include drilling, grinding, aligning, marking out and measuring are part of your skill set
• You have a good command of spoken German and hold valid work permits
