Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the assembly of supply systems, plant and assemblies, including in cleanroom conditions, for the semiconductor, chemical, life sciences and photovoltaic industries
• You will be responsible for installing utility and equipment supply lines for ultra-pure media, as well as fabricating steel structures to drawings
• Your responsibilities will also include manual TIG welding in accordance with standard DIN EN ISO 9606-1 and the documentation of the weld seams, as well as orbital welding in accordance with standard DIN EN ISO 14732
• You will be responsible for reading and producing isometric drawings, as well as operating power tools and machinery
• You will be responsible for manually bending small-diameter pipes in accordance with drawings
• Carrying out your work professionally in accordance with standards and internal guidelines, whilst complying with health and safety, fire safety and quality management system requirements, rounds off your role

What we’re looking for

• Completed vocational training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), process mechanic (m/f/d), gas and water installer (m/f/d), pipeline fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Certified welding skills would be an advantage
• Your sound knowledge and experience in metalworking are a strong point
• You have an understanding of design plans, production drawings and schematics
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workshop or cleanroom is second nature to you
• Furthermore, you handle and maintain work equipment responsibly
• Knowledge of German and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• You are willing to travel for project-related assignments in the greater Dresden area
• A Class B driving licence is an advantage
• You are a team player and are characterised by a structured, independent and meticulous approach to your work
