Your responsibilities

• you will set up and operate large presses ranging from 315 to 3,200 tonnes
• You’ll carry out set-up procedures independently, including programme adjustments, based on the production plan
• You’ll ensure the functionality, maintenance and upkeep of the machines and tools
• You will check tools and machines for defects and rectify these independently or arrange for the necessary measures to be taken
• Through continuous monitoring and, where necessary, optimisation of the setting and tool parameters, you will ensure a production process that meets quality standards and is cost-effective
• You will carefully document the shift results
• You are responsible for maintaining safety and order in your work area
• You will continuously monitor production quality and take action in the event of deviations

What we’re looking for

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a toolmaker (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or machining mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ experience in the field of punching and bending technology, ideally on large presses
• You have a basic understanding of mechanics, control and regulation technology
• You are familiar with the basics of quality control
• You have a basic spoken command of German (minimum level)
• You work independently and conscientiously
• You have a good grasp of technical concepts
• Teamwork and an energetic approach to work are among your strengths
• A valid work permit is required
