• You will measure and assess, under your own responsibility, first-off samples and production parts made using various manufacturing processes and materials
• To do this, you will use standard measuring equipment and hand-held measuring instruments, selecting the appropriate analogue or digital measuring method depending on the component
• You prepare quality inspections by reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, and selecting the appropriate test equipment
• You inspect parts, assemblies and systems for dimensional accuracy as well as form and position tolerances
• You carefully document the test results and record them in CAQ and ERP systems (ideally SAP)
• If measured values deviate from the specifications, you assess the situation and forward the results to the relevant departments
• You help to ensure that the quality assurance system is adhered to and maintained
• You produce reports and analyses using standard MS Office programmes

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d),

industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification

• You have experience in quality assurance
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• You are confident using MS Office and the SAP system
• You have a basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written
• You are willing to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
