• You thoroughly clean the components as supplied and prepare them for assembly in accordance with the assembly instructions
• You check that the parts are complete against the order documents and report any shortages to the relevant department
• You carry out simple assembly tasks in accordance with instructions
• You assemble standard gearboxes using components, sub-assemblies and products in accordance with the work plan
• You identify quality issues with components at an early stage
• You resolve defined faults in the assembly process independently
• You will escalate unresolvable faults to the specialist department, providing details of possible causes
• You will carry out maintenance and cleaning work on washing machines and look after your working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), construction fitter (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have experience in industrial assembly, assembly of sub-assemblies or mechanical manufacturing
• Reading and understanding technical drawings comes naturally to you
• You hold a forklift licence and, ideally, a crane operator’s licence
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work a three-shift system
• You demonstrate a commitment to quality, dedication, reliability and a proactive and safe approach to work
• A valid work permit completes your professional profile
