Your role: • Maintenance, testing and inspection of the mechanical gearboxes, wheel sets and bogies of locomotives, railcars and trams in accordance with the production order, whilst complying with economic, operational and health and safety requirements • Assembly and disassembly of sub-assemblies • Carrying out complex measurement and functional checks on components • Documenting the work and measurement results • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment • Reporting any deviations • Communicating and collaborating with line managers and colleagues • Driving the continuous improvement process, identifying potential for optimisation and implementing measures, e.g. to reduce lead times Your profile: • Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, fitter, mechanic, industrial mechanic or similar • Good organisational and time-management skills • Several years’ professional experience in maintenance at a comparable company would be desirable. • Ideally, knowledge of rail vehicle technology and its maintenance, or experience in a company with small-batch production or highly fluctuating production volumes

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or mechanic (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you have several years’ professional experience in maintenance at a comparable company
• Ideally, you have knowledge of rail vehicle technology and its maintenance, or experience in a company specialising in small-batch production or with highly fluctuating production volumes
• You have strong organisational and time-management skills
• You work meticulously and are confident in carrying out measurements, functional checks and documenting measurement results
• You have a strong sense of responsibility for health and safety at work and maintaining a clean working environment
• You communicate clearly with managers and colleagues and actively contribute ideas to improvement processes
• You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
