• You set up grinding and lapping machines in accordance with all procedural, operational and work instructions
• You grind and polish hard ceramic components in accordance with drawings and quality specifications
• You carry out in-process inspections and document the results
• You independently adjust machine parameters in the event of deviations and identify and rectify machine faults
• You assist with maintenance work by replacing machine parts, repairs and lubrication
• You set up equipment and measuring instruments such as grinding and running discs, callipers, probing tips and micrometres
• You will identify potential hazards and implement the necessary corrective measures
• You will ensure consistent and sustainable management of operating resources
• You will carefully enter all relevant information relating to operational and machine data acquisition (MDE/BDE) into the system
• You will play an active role in optimising processes and production methods (e.g. 5S measures, TPM, quality)
• You will take on further tasks as instructed by your line manager

• You have completed a technical vocational training programme, e.g. as a machinist (m/f/d), toolmaker (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you have already gained at least one year’s specialist work experience
• knowledge of operating double-planetary grinding machines would be an advantage
• You are confident in using measuring equipment
• You have comprehensive knowledge of the relevant health and safety regulations
• You also impress with your confident use of ERP (SAP) and MS Office skills
• Your willingness to work shifts and travel (particularly for projects), and ideally your ability to drive a car, round off your profile
