• You will be responsible for simple and complex plant and systems with varying levels of automation
• The commissioning and acceptance testing of machinery and systems will fall within your remit
• You will carry out system checks in accordance with regulations and guidelines
• Pre-commissioning checks and troubleshooting form part of your day-to-day work
• You then inspect the pipework systems against technical drawings
• You install sensors and valves and subsequently carry out pressure tests
• You fill various systems with the appropriate operating fluids
• You prepare for handover and provide support during this process
• You test, monitor and inspect complex technical systems with automation interfaces whilst the vessel is in operation
• You carry out systematic fault analyses and make recommendations for rectification
• You carry out warranty work on newbuild vessels independently

• Your profile includes vocational training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in mechanical and systems engineering, a marine mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable vocational qualification
• your several years’ professional experience in the above-mentioned field will be an advantage
• STCW certificates are an advantage
• you find reading diagrams straightforward
• you have a good command of spoken and written German and English
• You are characterised by an independent and reliable approach to your work
• Flexibility, strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are among your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
