Industrial painter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will professionally prepare metal parts for powder coating or painting, for example by cleaning, degreasing and masking sensitive areas
• Using the powder coating system, you’ll apply the coating material evenly to the workpieces
• You’ll operate and monitor the painting or coating systems whilst the process is underway
• You load and operate curing ovens and drying systems in accordance with specifications to permanently fix the coating
• You check the coated surfaces for uniformity, film thickness and visual defects
• You rework any faulty or uneven areas or prepare them for further processing
• You hang the workpieces on the painting stations or take them down again after the coating process
• You carry out paint and powder changes on the equipment independently
• You ensure the correct mixing and handling of the coating materials used
• You sort and pack the processed metal parts for onward transport or further processing
• You clean and maintain the machines and equipment used on a regular basis
• You will play an active role in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protection requirements during the coating process

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a surface coater (m/f/d), metal painter (m/f/d) or vehicle painter (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you have experience of working with powder coating or paint spraying systems
• You work meticulously and have a keen eye for uniform surfaces and visual imperfections
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and technical understanding
• You demonstrate a high degree of responsibility when handling chemicals and coating materials
• You are prepared to carry out physically demanding tasks whilst standing
• Teamwork and reliability come naturally to you
• You attach great importance to compliance with health and safety and environmental protection regulations
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
