Industrial painter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll carry out preparatory work for painting, such as cleaning and masking the workpieces
• You will sand and degrease surfaces to prepare them for further processing
• You will apply a primer to the workpieces to ensure optimum adhesion of the paint layer
• Using a spray gun, you will apply the paint evenly and to the specified film thickness
• You will carry out finishing work on painted parts to ensure a flawless finish
• You professionally touch up minor imperfections and paint defects
• You check the quality of the painted surfaces against the specified standards
• You document the paintwork results and report any deviations to your line managers
• You maintain and clean the paint spraying equipment and spray guns used
• You will assist in mixing and adjusting the paints in accordance with specifications
• You will ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental protection regulations in the paint shop

What we are looking for

• You have experience in the field of paint finishing or have completed vocational training as a paint finisher (m/f/d) or in a related metalworking or industrial trade
• You are confident in the safe handling of a paint spray gun
• A good command of spoken German and a valid work permit are also an advantage
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail
• Working meticulously and with a focus on quality comes naturally to you
• You enjoy working independently, but are also a reliable team player
• You have a technical understanding of preparatory steps such as priming and finishing
