• You will be responsible for preparing and coating machine casings, soundproof enclosures and sheet metal assemblies
• including cleaning, sanding, filling, priming and applying the top coat in accordance with the work plan and drawings
• You will also be responsible for setting up, operation and maintenance of the paint shop or spray booth (wet paint) are also part of your remit
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for mixing 1K/2K paints, powder coating where required, masking, and the use of overhead and rack systems
• You will be responsible for quality control and documentation, as well as for carrying out any necessary rework to a professional standard and ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental and VOC regulations
• In addition, you will liaise with Production, assembly and internal logistics, agree deadlines and plan the sequence
• Hanging and removing parts, labelling, packaging and handing them over to dispatch or further processing round off your role

• a completed apprenticeship, e.g. as an industrial painter (m/f/d), vehicle painter (m/f/d), a comparable qualification or, alternatively, several years’ practical experience in the wet painting of metal components
• you have knowledge of priming, surface preparation and corrosion protection
• you are fully confident in handling 1K/2K paints and hazardous substances
• furthermore, you have no difficulty reading work plans and drawings, or mixing paints in accordance with technical data sheets
• You are experienced in surface and colour inspection, in the application of spray painting techniques, and in masking and hanger techniques
• Respiratory protection and working in paint booths are no problem for you
• Knowledge of German and a valid work permit are part of your profile
