• You will support local care staff in various residential settings such as nurseries, childcare centres, after-school clubs, children’s and youth homes, workshops for people with disabilities or care homes
• You organise a structured daily routine and provide holistic support to those in your care as they navigate the challenges and adventures of their everyday lives
• You’ll encourage meaningful leisure pursuits and activities, and develop creative solutions to combat boredom
• You’ll conduct counselling sessions professionally, depending on your area of work
• You carry out organisational and administrative tasks reliably
• You liaise and work closely with specialist staff, parents, guardians and other relevant individuals, institutions and funding bodies

• You have completed training as a social care assistant (m/f/d), a social education assistant (m/f/d), childcare worker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you are characterised by a strong sense of responsibility and an awareness of potential risks
• strong communication skills and an empathetic approach are among your strengths
• You possess empathy and the ability to adapt to clients’ individual needs
