• You will sell tools, equipment and building supplies through direct contact with customers
• You will advise customers over the telephone and draw up cost estimates and quotations
• You will conduct price negotiations with customers and suppliers independently
• You will process orders and coordinate with the relevant departments internally
• You will monitor delivery times and ensure orders are processed on time
• You will issue invoices and carry out till duties
• You will provide customers with expert advice on the use and handling of products
• You will display goods attractively and arrange the sales area
• You will process customer and collection orders reliably and on time
• You will play an active part in stock-taking

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as a retail sales assistant (m/f/d) or sales assistant (m/f/d), or a trade apprenticeship, such as a metalworker (m/f/d) or a joiner (m/f/d),
• you’re also welcome to join us if you’re a career changer from a trade background who enjoys selling
• Ideally, you’ll have experience of working with machinery and power tools
• You’re characterised by your technical understanding
• You come across as confident and self-assured
