You’ll be responsible for the Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, IP telephones and the email system, as well as keeping the on-site clients up and running – whether they’re running Windows or Linux. Backups are in the best of hands with you, as you manage backup systems and ensure that documentation is produced clearly and comprehensibly. When IT projects involving external partners are on the agenda, you’ll be the central point of coordination, steering the processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly. System security is a priority for you, which is why you keep the IT infrastructure fail-safe and nip potential external attacks in the bud. You’ll also reliably upgrade and maintain network components, set up test environments, keep the software up to date and act as the first point of contact for all colleagues when it comes to day-to-day hardware and software issues

• You have completed a vocational qualification as an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d) or something comparable, and are familiar with Windows servers from version 2019 onwards, whether Windows or Linux
• You’re no stranger to various client operating systems and are also well versed in Active Directory, MS Exchange, Terminal Services and MS SQL Server
• When it comes to networks, nobody can outdo you, as TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs are just as much a part of your day-to-day work as a confident command of the MS Office suite
• Computer hardware holds no secrets for you, and we’d be particularly pleased if you already have experience with MS Dynamics NAV, virtualisation (e.g. with Hyper-V or Proxmox) or scripting languages
• Your German is clear and confident (at least C1 level), and you can also communicate effectively in English (at least B1/B2), ensuring smooth communication with the whole team
